Mr. Horan has over 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry representing owners, tenants, buyers and sellers of office space in the greater Pittsburgh market with total transaction values exceeding $500 million. Mr. Horan is consistently involved in some of Pittsburgh's largest transactions annually.

Background & Experience

| Prior to becoming a founding member of NAI Pittsburgh Commercial, Mr. Horan was the Director of Brokerage and Leasing at Grant Street Associates, Inc., and had been responsible for commercial office leasing and sales in the Greater Pittsburgh area. He has developed extensive experience in both agency and exclusive tenant representation. Since 1995, Mr. Horan’s total transaction value exceeds $400 million, and he has participated consistently in several of the largest deals in the Pittsburgh area. Some of the major transactions in which he has been involved include a 160,000 S.F. lease to IBM/Transarc on behalf of CBS Corporation, a 130,000 S.F. lease to Allegheny Energy Supply on behalf of Westinghouse Electric Company, a 92,000 S.F. lease to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center on behalf of Viacom Corporation. Mr. Horan has exclusively represented Tenants such Westinghouse Electric Company in an 112,000 S.F. lease, GAI Technologies in an 86,000 S.F. building purchase, and Propel Schools in 80,000 S.F. of transactions. Recent sales include the 550,000 S.F. headquarters on 138 acres for Finova and Westinghouse Electric Corporation, and an 112,000 S.F. office building on 22 acres on behalf of Viacom Corporation. Prior to his tenure at GSA, Mr. Horan was a leasing agent for Oxford Development Company, as well as Manager of Office Leasing for The Galbreath Company. He has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 1988. Mr. Horan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University and is a current Board member of Propel Charter Schools, and a former Board member of the Arthritis Foundation. He is a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Board of Realtors and the Pittsburgh Building Owners and Managers Association, and is a PA licensed Realtor. |
